It’s been an Incredible Boogie Head Summer
by kmitchell on Aug.03, 2010, under What's New
Wow!!! Where has the time gone. I’ve just realized that May, June and July are over. Boogie Heads has been smoking hot all summer. 26 events in 8 weeks. Incredible. I think there’s still some smoke residue left on my equipment from all the events just finished. The last 3 weeks of July has been admin catch-up and other video project completions and now here it is August again and we start all over again for the next 8 weeks. It’s been a terrific fun filled summer so far.
In this time we’ve done 8 Bar/Bat Mitzvah parties, 5 school events, 5 Muscular Dystrophy Events, 2 graduation parties, 1 church event, 1 country club event, 2 private parties, a relay for life event and a military coming home party. The staff and I have had a tremendous time at the parties and events and have met some wonderful people along the way. It’s what makes Boogie Heads the best entertainment system out there.
The special needs kids at our 5 MDA events was truly amazing and touches my heart like nothing else. It gives me chills to see how much fun these kids have with Boogie Heads. I’m glad I have something that can bring such a huge smile to there faces. I feel truly fortunate to own Boogie Heads and to see how much joy it brings to others. After our little break, its time to gear up again in the next week and entertain more guest and friends over the next 8 weeks. Hope to see you at one of these events.
If you’re reading this for the first time and interested in booking Boogie Heads for your next event or party…..call early to reserve your spot. We are already booking into 2011. Look forward to seeing you at our next Boogie Heads gig.

Hard Rock gets rocked by Boogie Heads
by kmitchell on Apr.20, 2010, under What's New
On Saturday April 17th, we loaded up our Boogie Heads equipment and headed downtown to Detroit to the Hard Rock Cafe. We were entertaining guests for a private Bar Mitzvah party there at the Hard Rock Cafe and all I can say is wow!!. We had a great time down there Saturday night. Non-stop laughter and fun for 4 hours and the atmosphere being at the hard rock made it that more special. Mallory, Tammi and I really enjoyed entertaining the family and friends who attended Stephen’s Bar Mitzvah party. based on all the reaction and excitement, I think everyone had a great time and we would love to do it again soon. Don’t forget if you’re planning your special event or party this year and you want Boogie Heads to be there….call us as early as possibly to have a better chance of reserving us for your event. Our summer is packed but there is room for more. We look forward to seeing you somewhere across the state of Michigan doing Boogie Heads.

Boogie Heads had the pleasure of taking our interactive video entertainment system to Dowagiac, MI last night to entertain guests at a wedding reception. Whenever you mix tasty beverages with a crowd ready to be entertained = A great Boogie Head event. We went non-stop for 3 hours one right after the other entertaining the wedding reception guest. My assistant Mallory was spot on keeping things flowing last night and did a great job keeping the crowd moving throughout the night. Thanks Mallory….you make us look great.
Boogie Karaoke!!
by kmitchell on Mar.19, 2010, under What's New
Yes….its finally coming…..Boogie Karaoke. This is a new twist on a very popular product. I’m sure everyone has seen or heard someone singing karaoke somewhere. Some singers are very good and some let’s just say could use a few singing lessons……nah….let’s not even go that far, its much easier to say they should never ever pick up another microphone……EVER. But in either case there’s always a good laugh and a good time whenever Karaoke is involved.
We’ve come up with our very own version of what we call Boogie Karaoke. If you’ve experienced Boogie Heads with the green screen behind you and your green bibs wrapped around you, you’ll have an easy time understanding Boogie Karaoke. We are going to give you a mic, feed the lyrics of the song to a monitor in front of you just like you’ve always seen or done yourself. While you begin to sing the song, we will magically remove the green screen behind you through chroma key and the Boogie rig will insert some cool entertaining graphics and backgrounds behind you while you sing. You won’t see the magic of the product until you finish singing but we will instantly record your performance and make a phenomenal music recording on DVD of your performance. If you’re really good, it could be the product that launches your career. Send it to a music producer or just post it to your facebook and instantly be seen by thousands. Just remember me when you start getting paid royalties. The possibilities are endless once you receive your DVD. Maybe your not American Idol material….that’s okay. Your kids or friends will love seeing your performance and you will always have the memory.
Below is a short 3 minute example of our karaoke version. Enjoy

We will be rolling out Boogie Karaoke on January 1, 2011. If you have an event or party coming up where Boogie Karaoke or Boogie Heads would be a great addition please contact us as soon as possible to get locked in. Dates are filling up extremely fast.
Boogie Heads entertains JNL Staff
by kmitchell on Dec.17, 2009, under What's New
Mallory and I had one of the best times Saturday night December 12th at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center entertaining the phenomenal staff at Jackson National Life for their Holiday event. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff was upbeat, entertaining and full of fun that night. Time flew by as group after group sat in our stools, laughing, smiling and creating their very own Boogie Heads DVD to take home from the event. This was a memorable evening for me as the JNL staff welcomed us and their vibrant smiles made for a fun filled event. I look forward to the opportunity to entertain JNL anytime. What a blast we had.

Boogie Heads was the center of attention at the holiday party for POH regional medical center in Pontiac on December 12th. One by one, group by group staff of POH sat in the Boogie Head stools and made a memorable DVD of their recorded performance to share with family and friends. Many many words uttered about how much fun they had and its such a great pleasure to be able to bring some fun, exciting, family friendly entertainment to groups like POH. I hope we get the chance to entertain this really fun group again.

Boogie Heads Popular at Bar/Bat Mitzvah Parties!
by kmitchell on Dec.06, 2009, under What's New
Boogie Heads has really become a popular attraction amongst Bar/Bat Mitzvah Parties. Parents looking for something new, something unique, something affordable and something to entertain their entire party are turning to Boogie Heads to meet all of those needs. I love the interaction with the kids and I think the parents sometimes enjoy Boogie Heads more than the kids. That’s always a win win at any party. When you have entertainment that fulfills both young and old alike is absolutely the best. Boogie Heads does all of that and more. So if you’re in the process of planning your next event…give me a call and see how Boogie Heads can bring the best entertainment to your guests. I look forward to your call.

Boogie Heads Invades Geneva, NY
by kmitchell on Sep.05, 2009, under What's New
The last weekend of August 2009, we headed off to Geneva NY to entertain the Police Benevelant Association and Bike Fest there. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very cooperative for our setup and our host from the Ramada Inn decided to move us into the hotel and entertain the guest in the restaurant and bar area both Friday and Saturday night. Didn’t matter to us where we were, we had a great time and gave the guest of the Ramada Inn a memorable couple of days, including 3 separate wedding parties who were staying there to celebrate there weddings. They had such a good time that they’ve asked us to come back there later in the year for there customer appreciation party. Even though the drive was a little long for us, the guests had plenty of fun and excitement since most of them had never seen anything quite like Boogie Heads.
Boogie Heads Crashes Wedding Reception!
by kmitchell on Aug.10, 2009, under What's New
Boogie Heads crashed a wedding reception on Friday 08/07/2009. We had already setup our equipment earlier in the day and left. Just as the last guests sat down to eat…my crew and I strolled in like we owned the place…uncovered all of our equipment, people looking like who in the heck are these individuals and once we fired up the equipment…we rocked the house for 2 solid hours. Almost 90 DVD’s went home with people that night from the wedding and what a blasts did the wedding couples guests have with Boogie Heads. I kept hearing guests asking the Bride and Groom where they found us. They had this all planned out because of seeing us at a school lock-in and we had a fantastic time at the wedding. So if your a soon to be bride or groom looking for non-traditional entertainment ideas, Boogie Heads may be the perfect solution.
