About Us!
Here’s your opportunity to learn a little about us and how Boogie Heads came to Michigan in 2008. I’ll try and make this as brief as possible yet give you an idea of how this forum and Boogie Heads was started.
First off I have to take you back to my military days where it all started. At 18 I joined the Navy took off to San Diego California for boot camp, finished Interior Coomunication Electricians school and headed off to my first ship the USS Boone located in Mayort, Florida. This is where my love for video started. My job required that all special assignments onboard the ship be recorded and the camera was put in my hand and the magic started. Then I spent some time in Great Lakes, IL and had the opportunity to work at Sears part-time working on different electronic equipment. To make a very long story short…I spent 16 years in the Navy…loved it but my daughter was born and it was time to move on to a more stable career. Started working in the natural gas industry and still do…but I never lost the passion to do video work.
In 2002 I started a small production company called Memories in Motion Productions and started doing wedding videography, film transfers, custom photo montages, sports recruiting videos, and virtual tours for realtors. You can visit our website here.
I still own that comapny and we are still doing all of that type of video work…and then I seen a video like Boogie Heads and knew I had to own one of these systems. I recognized that people would have fun with this and I knew I would have fun with it, so in March of 2008 I decided to purchase a Boogie Heads rig and as they say the rest is history. Now our focus is marketing this great product and let others know we exist. So in short, this is how Boogie Heads came to Michigan.
