Kinder Care Learning Centers Boogie Down!
by kmitchell on Jul.29, 2009, under What's New
We had the pleasure of setting Boogie Heads up at 2 Kinder Care Learning Centers last week. Once again we find another perfect event for Boogie Heads. Their summer day care program had kids ranging in age from 4-12. The kids had a great time and were so happy to be able to take there DVD’s home to show there mom and dad’s. I’ve always said it doesn’t matter how old you are, anyone can do Boogie Heads. Young and old alike have just as much fun. We are planning on adding some additional Kinder Care centers next year throughout the summer and definitely looking forward to it.
Lake 13 in Farwell knows how to Boogie!!
by kmitchell on Jul.22, 2009, under What's New
On July 5th, 2009 we headed off early to a family gathering at Lake 13 in Farwell, Mi. This was one of those parties where time was on warp speed. The day was over before you felt like you started. I was ready to keep going. The families and neighbors had such a good time with Boogie Heads. This was one of my favorite parties we’ve done. Everyone was into it and just having an overall great time and that’s what makes my job fun. In fact one neighbor was having a Luau Party the following week and we headed right back up there on July 11th for that good time as well. The best part of that party is when we were heading out on the private drive, most of the guest stopped us, shook our hands and couldn’t thank us enough. That’s what its all about. How can you not love impacting people like that. Boogie Heads is way cool. I look forward to many more parties like that.
Wedding couples looking for non-traditional entertainment!
by kmitchell on Jun.26, 2009, under What's New
In the past week my phone and email has been flooded with wedding couples wanting something totally different at their wedding receptions. Couples are breaking away from the traditional sit down, eat, dance and go home type of weddings. From my own perspective of video taping several weddings over the past 6 years, that is typically what happens at every wedding with a twist here or there. But most wedding receptions play out like this. Couple arrives, toast are given, eat, cut cake, first dances, garter & bouquet toss, dancing, more dancing, happy people doing more dancing and everyone goes home.
With couples wanting to give there guest something more than just a meal and some dancing they are looking for unique ideas to entertain there guests. This is where Boogie Heads fits the mold perfectly. Boogie Heads is Michigan’s ultimate party entertainment. You give your guests something fun, exciting and hilarious to do with Boogie Heads and the coolest part about it all, your guests actually get to leave with something more then a bag of m&m’s in a sash bag. We can customize our DVD’s with the wedding couples pictures & information and then the guests get to take it home and share it with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and more. What an awesome way to have your guests remember your wedding day.
If you are in the stages of planning your wedding day or know of someone who is planning a wedding, give them a little nudge at let them know we are here as something new, exciting and a real blasts to entertain their guests. Would you love to attend a wedding where Boogie Heads was set-up. I know I would. Boogie Heads, wedding guests, music & DVD’s represents none other than a great time. Give us a call and let’s talk about your wedding reception entertainment.
New Grads Love too Boogie!
by kmitchell on Jun.23, 2009, under What's New
On June 13th, Boogie Heads was once again on the road. This day we set up at a graduation party in Kalamazoo. Non stop laughter was on for 2 hours as we entertained a new graduate and her classmates. This was one of those days where you blinked and the party was over. Lots of fun but seemed too short. It was one of those fun times where you just wanted to keep going.
If you have a 2010 graduate and you’re looking for a great way to entertain your guests, Boogie Heads is the perfect solution. From young to old everyone has fun with Boogie Heads. Contact us early to reserve your date for next spring. We would love to be at your party. We should have a handful of new songs licensed for our system by then as well. We look forward to your call.
State Farm Boogies at Founder’s Day Event
by kmitchell on Jun.23, 2009, under What's New
Boogie Heads Entertainment had the privilege of entertaining the workers of State Farm in Kalamazoo for the 2nd year at their Founder’s Day event on June 12th. It was great to see some very familiar faces from the year previous and from some of the events we have set up throughout the year. This event is one of my favorites to attend. The employees really get involved and as always our room was packed throughout the 5 hour event. I’m hoping that we get to come back for the 3-peat next year. Our library of music is growing and we are working on some new content.
Boogie Heads completes the Tri-fecta!
by kmitchell on Jun.09, 2009, under What's New
A super fun but super long weekend just past. Boogie Heads was on display for the tri-fecta weekend on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We started out at an after school cookout, Boogie Heads party at White Pine Academy in Leslie, Mi on Friday to celebrate the kids last day of school. The kids had a super good time and plenty of laughs were going on as the kids headed off for there very own fun filled summer. It’s so much fun seeing the kids having a good time with the Boogie Heads system.
On Saturday afternoon my crew got on the road at 1:30pm to head off to a graduation party in Walled Lake. Everyone at the event commented on how fun Boogie Heads was and my staff stayed super busy throughout the party. I wish I could of had something like Boogie Heads at my graduation party. Most graduation parties you attend you sit around, have some food, have a couple drinks, socialize for a bit and your outta there. How cool was it for the guests there not only to do all of the above but then get to take home there very own DVD of there Boogie Head performance that they can laugh at with family and friends later down the road. It was a great time.
We immediately packed up all our Boogie Head gear after the graduation party and head off to a school lock-in party in South Lyon. The event started at 10:30pm and went an amazing 6 hours. There was plenty for the kids to do throughout the night and Boogie Heads was one of the interactive entertainment activities that the kids were able to choose from. It’s always fun to watch high school kids do Boogie Heads. They all stand around at first observing what it is and then its like you can see it in there eyes that hey I’m 18 and I’m too cool for Boogie Heads. Then you get the class clown who just wants to have fun sit in the stools and perform and as they say the rest is history. We always have a great time at school lock-ins. My crew made it home at 6:00am Sunday morning.
With no rest for the weary, my crew was back on the road at 8:00pm Sunday night for another school lock-in in Eaton Rapids, MI. Even though this was a much smaller event than the night before, these kids were out to have a good time. It was non-stop for my staff for 4 hours and these kids had a great time doing Boogie Heads. We love to see the excitement and fun that you can have with Boogie Heads and these kids definitely showed it that night. Any place we set up Boogie Heads is always a good time, but Sunday night for my staff was a great time.
Just remember there isn’t any event or activity that Boogie Heads isn’t appropriate for. Even though our calendar is loaded throughout the summer, we have just put our 2nd Boogie Heads rig on the road and we are super excited to get the chance to have additional dates that we can accommodate additional parties and events now throughout this summer and right on through to the end of the year. Pick up the phone and let’s talk about Boogie Heads entertaining your guest at one of your events.

Boogie fun at All Skate in Jackson
by kmitchell on May.30, 2009, under What's New
Friday night 5/29/09 Boogie Heads was one of the headlining activities for Michigan Center High School’s Project Safe Graduation. We set up for their private party at All Skate fun center in Jackson, Mi and had a great time with the 2009 graduates of Michigan Center High School. Plenty of laugh’s and we even were able to get some of the kids parents on the stools and they seemed to have as much if not more fun then the kids. Once again it just goes to show that Boogie Heads is one perfect for any type of party or event and two its perfect for any age. Young and old alike will laugh hysterically when they become a Boogie Head. Its not to late to book your summer party. Call us and see if we are available for your event. More to come as our summer heats up.

Boogie Heads invades Boyne Mountain
by kmitchell on May.17, 2009, under What's New
I’m coming to the conclusion that we’ll travel just about anywhere to entertain guests. We put Boogie Heads on the road on 5/14 and drove 3 1/2 hours to an event at Boyne Mountain way up north in Michigan. We set up Boogie Heads for a corporate event with the SVS staff and had a terrific time. Wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived. The wind was whipping around 30 miles per hour and they wanted to set us up outside. Unfortunately that wouldn’t have worked well with the wind. Luckily we were able to set up inside the huge tent there. We ran off electrical generators for the first time and absolutely had a blasts with the SVS staff. This was actually one of the funner parties I’ve set up at and it was non-stop for 4 straight hours. In fact it was hard to tell everyone we were leaving after 4 hours because they were still having allot of fun with Boogie Heads. I hope we get a chance next year to head back up north for this event, I really had a good time. If your looking for non-stop laughter at your next event or party call us. We would love to set up and entertain your guests. We guarantee we’ll make your guests laugh at least once. When you try Boogie Heads, you’ll want to come back over and over and create a new music video. We hope to see you at an event somewhere in Michigan over the next few months. Stay tuned for new updates as we complete different events throughout the year.

Busy Boogie Weekend
by kmitchell on May.11, 2009, under What's New
We had a super busy day this past Saturday with our Boogie Head rig. We started our day off early heading over too Kalamazoo, Mi around 9:30am to set up at a Cinco De Mayo celebration at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place. The weather was windy and a little rainy but cleared up just in time for us to get started. We had a great time entertaining several guests over a three hour period and before you knew it we were packing up again and heading off to Saginaw, MI for a Bat Mitzvah celebration at the beautiful Temple Theater in downtown Saginaw. What a gorgeous place to have a party and by the time we got things rolling we were packing it all back up and heading home. We finally arrived back home around 2:00am in the morning. We had a great time throughout the day and met some terrific people along the way. Again we just keep finding new venues to set up at and having a great time no matter where we are. We’re looking forward to the next several weeks because we have quite a few school events and graduation parties that we’ll be setting up at, and those are always great events to have a good time at. I’ll keep everyone posted on our new events as they happen.

Boogie down in West Bloomfield
by kmitchell on May.03, 2009, under What's New
I thought we’ve set up Boogie Heads at almost every event or party I could think of from Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, to birthday parties, school lock-ins, wedding reception, corporate event and more but yesterday 5/2/2009 was our very first set-up at a “First Communion celebration in West Bloomfield, MI. We had a great time, the guests were awesome and the close knit family parties are so much fun. Just when I thought I’ve seen all the different parties to set-up at, I’m once again amazed at all the differetn possibilities Boogie Heads could be used for.
